The Audi grandsphere concept was the first vehicle designed from the inside out. It's meant to be simple, yet vibrant, with as few lines as possible. You can feel it, you can move it and it's a kind of curtain that you open. 

An important feature is that the focus moves from the dashboard to everywhere in the car - it's a big calm living space that looks like a lounge. When you close the door, the driver and the passenger are completely immersed in this very warm material. The car feels alive by speaking to you in a material way.


 
You stand in front of it, and it looks at you with the cut of the two rings - appearing as a pupil of an eye. With the shortest bonnet ever designed at Audi. 

With no visible display- how does one operate this vehicle? All the passenger information appears as a projection - a 180 degrees cinema. The steering wheel comes out of a huge wood finish application and the car transforms from a lounge into a sports car.

 

The Audi grandsphere concept redefines superior travel: precision detailing combined with a super clean body. It opens a completely new perspective, redefining high-class travel for today and the future.
